The single most important tip to give in learning to dance Kizomba, anything really, is to practise. And to practise intelligently. By intelligent practise I mean practise with purpose. And in our case the purpose is simply the fun of self expression - because we find that improvement seems to come naturally when we focus on self expression.
It means to pick up on the basics and then use them to have fun. Use them exhaustively, and use them creatively. With many partners to many songs. I feel like conversation is a useful analogy. The aim is to connect through dialogue, using simple meaningful words - again for the simple purpose of self-expression.
