Oh to feel

It is a small distinction, maybe. A simple matter of labels. Yet somehow there is something to be said of a good social dancer vs a good leader/follower.

We are all our own dancer, equal and equally special. And as with all things this is coming from the eyes of its beholders.

A good leader/follower communicates great technique. You can almost carry out a rational study to the natural conclusion they are good. It is almost intellectual.

But a good social dancer pulls at our hearts. It is partly technique, partly something else. Who knows? Who cares? It's just how they move.

Or maybe it's just that they move. That they dance, rather than simply lead or follow. And they express, so they move us as emotionally as they move themselves.
