I sometimes refer to Kizomba as tracing circles. I love this dance because of its circular moments, and one of the simplest ones to have fun with is the Estrella or star pattern as demonstrated beautifully by Eddy Vents in the link below.
Apart from being a simply beginner pattern it is also a beautiful movement for letting go. This is especially so at 3am at a social dance, having been dancing almost non stop since 10pm. If you've done a social dance festival or part of any kind you know exactly what I mean ;-)
Quick Note: Emphasis is on just the first 2 minutes if this your first time ever doing kizomba - but by all means have fun with the rest if you wish!
