Birmingham 2019. We went to Testa Com Testa having heard lovely things. In hindsight I think what we heard didn't quite do justice to the magic that is Kizomba in Birmingham. The video below (around 1.15) captures a moment in which Marty and I discovered the ability to express so very much without leaving a particular space.

And it was a wonderfully similar experience dancing with others. It has been a pleasure to dance in Edinburgh, Aberdeen, Manchester, Sevilla, Madrid, Rome, Sardinia, Lisbon. Every place unique, every place special. Yet the packed dancefloor of Birmingham taught us it is possible to to dance comprehensivey, with minimal movement.
