Libre, and Kizomba to us, mean freedom. As music, freedom of the mind. As a dance, freedom to express.
And historical freedom - healing culture wounds from civil strife.
Libre is also about connection. With old friends, with new faces,
and with a very special feeling every social dancer knows.
Finally Libre is an acronym, for (L)earning the (I)ntrincs of (B)ody movement, (R)hythm, and (E)mpathy.
We hope you find much here that encourages your Kizomba journey.
